Will the downloading generation ever pay for online music? Do I still download? As Stone Cold Steve Austin would say, "OH HELL YEAH!!!!!" I agree that buying a CD for one song is just plain stupid. I have alot of CD's that I only listened to one song. Of course I bought these before P2P got started so I have different thoughts on buying CD's now. Yes I will pay to get a CD of a group that I like, will I pay to download, no. Too many copy protection on those, can't burn to CD, can't share on multiple computers, etc. Support file sharing. Viva la resistance!

I just got in from Staple. Yes I was one of the crazies that went out for the "great" buys. And I did get some:

100 CD-R's for free after rebate
100 jewel cases for free after rebate
80 GB hard drive for $40 after rebate
17 in LCD monitor for $230 after rebate

That is all that I bought. I got there at 5:15, doors opened at 6:00, I was out and ready to head home by 6:05. Not too bad. I need to work on the rebates so I can get them mailed out today. Hope everyone had a great Turkey Day. I am oot.

Team Austin lost (SCSA gone from WWE Raw, or at least going to SmackDown!, which sucks), Taker lost to Vince (with help from Kane, what about the brand separation, guess this means that someone is jumping to the other promotion), the only good thing that happen was HHH did not beat Goldberg (HHH, the most over rated wrestler of all time). I hope that the ban continues far into the future. The web is one of the last free areas people can go to explore the world. The problem I see is that people have become so dependent on the web that they will pay a tax if one is put into effect and just live with it because they do not want to live without the web. OU Trip

Hey all, we made it back. I think around 5:30. First, thanks Luke for a great weekend, the totally wonderful meals (shocked the hell out of me you could cook that well) and the good talks. I took some pics, not many because I kind of forgot to use the camera when we went out. I will not go into the reason why, so you can just figure that one out yourself. Hello all you in cyberspace. We made it down to OU with no problem. Went the OU/Kent State Football game today. OU lost 33 to 37. Val was very happy, too bad we were sitting on the wrong side of the stadium, lot of glares and looks. Getting ready for dinner and then heading out, I will post more and talk to you later.

Yeah and the cost of a new tv will go up along with the price of computers, dvd players and even game consoles, and you are not even guaranteed they are going to work well together if at all. All of these devices have dropped in price and many people are buying new ones now. This will hurt the makers of these products for about a year. People are going to wait until they know what is going to happen with these and for all the bugs to be worked out. I say a decline in sales starting next summer and finally ending Christmas 2005.
