Stolen a film? MPAA wants to know

One in four people online has illegally downloaded a feature film--and it's cutting into box-office and DVD sales, the Motion Picture Association of America said in a study released Thursday.
I find that hard to believe. Besides have you ever seen the quality of those movies that you download. They suck. Let's see people are going to the movies less often. Why do you think that is? It wouldn't have anything to do with the fact that the price is steadily going up and there are as many advertisements there as on TV. DVD sales are down too. Not that many good movies have been released on DVD. That and why rush out and by one because in a couple of months they release the same one with all those extra features. Not to mention that they are putting in commercial in the DVDs as well and you can not get past them. Do you think that could be a reason? Also it takes a fast broadband connection to download those movies. The percentage of people that have broadband in the US is a small percentage of internet users. So I think that the survey could have been a little off if they surveyed more broadband users then the overall user. But this is just my opinion.
